I have finally committed 100% to my new business which actually started by accident. I have been doing Internet marketing for over 4 years now. During that time I have accumulated a wealth of knowledge in various areas. When I first started out, Adsense was all the rage.
I had all kinds of portal sites and read every thing I could get my hands on about SEO. I even joined a membership site called Portal Feeder at $397 per month. I learned a lot about blogging, SEO, and article marketing. I stayed in the membership for about half a year before circumstances dictated that I could no longer afford it.
Over the last year or so, I have had people that know I am an Internet marketer seek me out for advice regarding their websites. It got to the point where I was thinking I should start charging a consulting fee. Well, I finally had someone just outright offer to pay me for SEO services. Here is one of the sites I set up to help get him ranked for the keyword phrase race car rentals.
Squidoo, Hub pages, Weebly, and many other "Web 2.0" sites are easy ways to get a lot of "link juice" for a listing. When you incorporate back linking, onpage optimization, and bookmarking campaigns all together, it can be very easy to rank well for a "Geo targeted" keyword.
I don't have my new company website ready yet but it will be soon. I am going to create an LLC and find a lawyer to help me draw up some contracts and then I will be ready to start beating the bushes for some more clients. Once I finish getting my first client dominating the first couple pages of Google, the referrals should be all I need.
If you are interested in doing this sort of thing, I have put together a free 7 day ecourse that will introduce you to some of the industry "secrets". Click on the link to get your free course about local online marketing.

If you are still kicking yourself because you missed out on getting into the first Alex Jeffreys coaching program, then I may have the next best thing. Actually, the next best thing will be to get into Alex's next coaching program although Alex said that the next time around it is going to cost a lot more money.
Alex has recommended a step by step, 52 week training program for starting and running your own 100% unique online business. Discover how to have a fully functioning, internet marketing business that you can be earning from in just 5 or 6 weeks. Every little detail is explained so that the newest of nubes can set this up and be taking orders in a matter of weeks.
The program is called the Internet Marketing Kick Start Course and comes highly recommended by Alex, who does not go throwing his name around unless he really believes in something. They are only accepting 500 students and the price is *very* affordable so I would not waste any time. I don't expect there will be any spots left in a day or so. If you go on over and check it out, they are giving away the first chapter for free.

I have been trying to make money online now for about 4 years. While I do not fit into that category of people who have been trying for years and not made a single penny, my results have not come close to what I desire. It is not because I haven't tried or for lack of tacking action. The cause for my mediocre results have remained a mystery until lately.
I finally broke down and payed some one to mentor me. I knew that this was something that I needed to do but the cost of doing so to this date has been prohibitive. The majority of the "gurus" get upwards of $5000 for coaching or mentoring services. This is has been beyond my reach.
The truth is that with the economy in the crapper and prices at the grocery store continually rising, it has been getting tough to spend any money at all on continuing my online education. But when I saw Alex Jeffreys video and then heard at the end that he was only charging $497 for his first coaching class, I had to give it a try.
So far I have not been disappointed. Last night we finished the 3rd coaching module and as I lay in bed afterwards I had a "moment of clarity". You see, there are 500 other students and the classes are held via webinar. Alex has given us our own profit pulling platform which is in essence a list building machine.
That is all great, I even made a sale on the upsell the very first day I put my squeeze page in place and sent some traffic to it. But I have realized that the system itself is nothing compared to the awesome power that is rapidly gaining force amongst the students. Since day one, the students have banded together and formed a community.
It started as a kind of support system for the newbies in the group and is quickly turning into a giant master mind group. I have a blog at http://jtmartin.net that has pretty much been dead as far as traffic is concerned. I changed the theme from Web 2.0 strategies to "JT Martin Builds An Online Business".
I am keeping an online journal of sorts and have started making posts about the coaching and what we are doing. I started this 2 weeks ago and the traffic to my blog has shot through the roof. My fellow students have been coming by the blog asking for advice and offering support. It is absolutely incredible.
It is an unexpected result of the coaching and there are already joint venture rumblings in the making. By the time we all finish the coaching program we are going to be a force to be reckoned with.
When you get a chance, stop by and see what's going on. Hell, for that matter, come by and join in the fun.
