I have been trying to make money online now for about 4 years. While I do not fit into that category of people who have been trying for years and not made a single penny, my results have not come close to what I desire. It is not because I haven't tried or for lack of tacking action. The cause for my mediocre results have remained a mystery until lately.
I finally broke down and payed some one to mentor me. I knew that this was something that I needed to do but the cost of doing so to this date has been prohibitive. The majority of the "gurus" get upwards of $5000 for coaching or mentoring services. This is has been beyond my reach.
The truth is that with the economy in the crapper and prices at the grocery store continually rising, it has been getting tough to spend any money at all on continuing my online education. But when I saw Alex Jeffreys video and then heard at the end that he was only charging $497 for his first coaching class, I had to give it a try.
So far I have not been disappointed. Last night we finished the 3rd coaching module and as I lay in bed afterwards I had a "moment of clarity". You see, there are 500 other students and the classes are held via webinar. Alex has given us our own profit pulling platform which is in essence a list building machine.
That is all great, I even made a sale on the upsell the very first day I put my squeeze page in place and sent some traffic to it. But I have realized that the system itself is nothing compared to the awesome power that is rapidly gaining force amongst the students. Since day one, the students have banded together and formed a community.
It started as a kind of support system for the newbies in the group and is quickly turning into a giant master mind group. I have a blog at http://jtmartin.net that has pretty much been dead as far as traffic is concerned. I changed the theme from Web 2.0 strategies to "JT Martin Builds An Online Business".
I am keeping an online journal of sorts and have started making posts about the coaching and what we are doing. I started this 2 weeks ago and the traffic to my blog has shot through the roof. My fellow students have been coming by the blog asking for advice and offering support. It is absolutely incredible.
It is an unexpected result of the coaching and there are already joint venture rumblings in the making. By the time we all finish the coaching program we are going to be a force to be reckoned with.

There is a new form of advertising medium that will be launching tomorrow November 18th at noon. This one appears to be another one of those no brainers like Instant Buzz. The program is called Viral Bars and is free to join. This one is another viral masterpiece like Web Traffic Juggernaut. The concept is similar to other browser traffic bars but this one has a new twist.

They have created a win win for every one and they stand to build a list of over 10,000 or so people tomorrow and more than likely make some cash with their 50% take on the up sell. This is what viral marketing and using leverage is all about. There is no price tag you can place on the relationship that they are building with their current subscribers not to mention the potential money they will make from the new list they generate tomorrow September 9th.

I just recently found out that Traffic Fusion, Mike Filsaime's newest product will not be lauching until September 15th. I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at Traffic Fusion when Mike showed up at the Gateway To Wealth in Orlando as a surprise guest. He gave us a luanch date of August 28th but eveidently still had some tweaking to do.

I just can't get over what people are giving away now a days. The new catch phrase in Internet Marketing circles is "moving the free line". The old days of throwing up a super hypey sales page and drivng traffic to it with a pay per click campaign are just about over. Now you need to build a list of subscribers and woo them with free content and good advice to build a loyal following. Then , maybe they will buy something from you on a recommendation.
Last night I stayed up late watching the free video series that Michael Rasmussen is currently giving away. I was absolutely blown away by the content in Mini Site Profits Exposed. This is not a couple of cheesey videos that were thrown together to entice you to give up your email address.
This is a large set of proffesionally produced, extremely informative, high quality videos. I am highly impressed. Hats off to Michael. In the advertisements this is touted as a $197 value.
