Web 2.0

0

I just put up a new page on my Web 2.0 Strategies blog. I am doing a demo of my "Web 2.0 Whammy" strategy, which is designed to get your website or blog indexed in a matter of days and skyrocket you to the first page of Google's search results for long tail keywords. It will also work for competitive keywords but the results take a little longer.

Anyhow, the page is the first piece of "linkbait" that I have created for jtmartin.net. A linkbait page is critical to the success of a good social marketing strategy. Once you get people to your site, you need to give them a reason to come back. This can be a video, and article, a podcast, anything that has enough value to make some one bookmark the page so they can come back later and access more information.

In my case, I have put together a list of every social bookmarking site I could find. There are 158 total and they are listed in order of Alexa ranking and I have also listed their Google page rank so you can see how much weight your back links will have. Go check it out and make sure you bookmark it because I am going to be adding a list of all the social news sites and a list of all the video sharing sites.

Squidoo has got to be one of the best tools an internet marketer can use. Where else can you:

  • promote your product
  • brand yourself as an expert
  • promote an affiliate product
  • build your opt in list
  • boost your search engine ranking

and do it all for free! You don't even need a hosting account. Squidoo does all the webmaster work for you. All you do is add content to the different modules. Advanced users, that know a little HTML, can customize their modules even more. You can even use some CSS to spruce up your Lenses and give them a unique look.

I am not going to go into the details because it is way to much for a single post. Instead, check out this video and then I have a free report for you at the end of this post.

Learn Secrets To Squidoo

Squidoo Secrets is a program by Bob "The Teacher" Jenkins. The New York time's did an article on Bob's "Beef Jerky" lens. He really knows his stuff about Squidoo. I met him at the World Internet Main Event last year in San Francisco and he was very helpful. I have been a member of Squidoo Secrets since it's creation and it has helped me to boost several of my lenses to the first page of Google's search results. I currently have over 30 lenses.

Go to Google and type in web 2.0 submitter or peel away ads. Those are my Squidoo lenses on the first page of results and they have brought me quite a few affiliate sales :) . I have brought this to you today because of the viral potential that is here as well. I have a free report for you called "How Do You Do, Squidoo?"

I hope you enjoy it .  Check out my Web 2.0 Marketing Strategies blog for more on social marketing and social bookmarking.

There is a new Web 2.0 website called Qassia. Like most Web 2.0 sites it revolves around member participation. You submit articles and snippets of information that they call "intel". Your "intel" is then rated by other members and you are awarded "Qassia cash" which can be redeemed as views and backlinks for your webistes and blogs. "Qassia cash" is also rewarded for referrals and for rating "intel". The cool thing is that you can earn real cash too. Enter your Google adsense account number and display ads on your Qassia pages. You get 100% of the money earned, not a percentage like other Web 2.0 sites. Qassia is still in beta and not open to the public. You can only join by invitation. So here is your official invitation from me. Click here to join Qassia.
